Find a clear path forward.

Design Day | a one-day retreat facilitated by WhereWeGo that jumpstarts your team’s technology project with user-centered design thinking and a best-in-class strategy.

  • It is a rigorous and collaborative experience. It's also really fun.

Our team will consider your specific project and where you are in your timeline. We will select from a long suite of design thinking activities and tailor them to your scenario. We will push for healthy conflict and empathetic thinking with your users until we’ve prioritized your features and timeline, with a heavy hand of consulting and advising on what we’ve seen work before.

Then, we transform that into a Project Charter, which suggests exactly how your team could proceed, anticipates pricing, and provides ready-to-execute product documentation you can hand over to any development team of your choice (though we hope it will be us!).

  • Any organization or coalition with a technology project in mind or in revision. We specialize in products with social impact goals, particularly for student and worker audiences. If you believe your project may be too early or too late, just ask.

  • A design day costs $4,900 and 4-6 hours of your team’s time. The retreat may be spread over multiple days and may be done in person or online.

  • Go from talking to doing | You’ll leapfrog weeks of discussions and end up much further than you suspected you’d be by the end of the process. You could be ready to kickstart mockups & development by the time we’re done documenting and ideating solutions with and for you.

Avoid product development pitfalls | The beginning of your project is often either the birthplace of future conflict and financial losses or a foundation for excellence. Like the teachers we are, we believe excellence grows from collaborative relationships and amazing plans.

Stay on budget and on time | Design Days have lasting impacts because they increase quality and speed, mitigate risks, and stay on your timeline and within budget with a hyper-detailed strategy. What’s most useful for many is how they serve to align a team so that the project is grounded in a common vision and comprehension of what comes next.

Get accurate pricing and timeline| Also, you’ll get proposed phases of development and quotes for pricing, so that you can take meaningful actions towards funding.

Get awesome documentation | The project charter you receive, with it’s user story maps and prioritized features and many best-in-class practices, is a treasure!

“Our idea started as a vast and opaque concept, but by the end of the design day, we felt that we had finally started building something concrete and attainable. Many of the methods and exercises the WWG team used were new to us, but the results were quite impressive.”
